ADHD Test in Miami, FL

WeMind Institute specializes in pediatric neurological care, as well as treatment for headaches and migraines, testing for ADHD, and children with autism. We offer a pediatric ADHD test for children who live in Miami, Doral, the greater Miami area, and the surrounding areas of Florida.

What is the ADHD Test?

WeMind Institute is known for offering the QbTest for ADHD, a condition that causes poor concentration, hyperactivity, and other concerns that disrupt development and learning in children. Your child performs the test on a computer in our office. Dr. Vasconcellos uses the results of the test to determine if your child has ADHD.

How Much Does the ADHD Test Cost?

While WeMind Institute accepts most medical insurances to cover the cost of most diagnosis and treatment services, we only accept out-of-pocket payments for the QbTest. Our patient coordinator will review your coverage and explain any other out-of-pocket costs that may incur, such as co-payments, deductibles and co-insurance.

How Does the Test Help with an ADHD Diagnosis?

The QbTest for ADHD measures impulse control, activity levels, and attention. The report from the test not only shows how your child performed, but also provides comparison data for children of the same age. Seeing data in this way helps parents understand the effects of ADHD on their children.

What Happens During the ADHD Test?

Your child sits comfortably in front of the computer that administers the ADHD test online. In addition to the computer, the system uses an infrared camera, a response button, and a headband with a marker to help track movement. The ADHD test child presses the response button when a certain symbol appears on the screen. The test takes about 20 minutes.
